Konrad Plechowski coordinates the activities in the Economic Development sector (agriculture / rural development / entrepreneurship&youth employability) for IICD - International Institute for Communication and Development. IICD is an international NGO, based in The Netherlands, specialized in ICT for Development. He is also committed to brokering partnerships in the area of ICT4D, simultaneously working for IICD as Partnerships Officer, with focus on building partnerships, fundraising, and program design with range of stakeholders (private sector partners, private foundations, local/international NGOs, multilateral organizations, etc.).
Konrad has been mainly involved in the non-corporate sector – serving on the boards of the global NGOs (AIESEC International) as well as managing the small local ones (Tiny Toones Cambodia). He has also experienced how technology is managed in the corporate sector, while working for the HQ of ING Bank.
Konrad holds two masters degrees – MSc International Business / Information Management from the Maastricht University in The Netherlands, which he graduated Cum Laude, as well as MA Economics from the Torun University in Poland.
