e-Agriculture webinar - Experience Capitalization and good practices

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) and the e-Agriculture Community of Practice (COP) launched a call for good and promising practices on the use of ICTs for Agriculture. The call aims at collecting lessons learned and recommendations of ICT for agriculture initiatives around the world and sharing them among the members and followers of the e-Agriculture Community of Practice and beyond.

The selected good and promising practices will be disseminated on the e-Agriculture platform and social media and will be part of an online FAO publication “Good Practices on the use of ICTs for Agriculture”.

webinar on the topic of experience capitalization and good practices in ICTs in agriculture was organized to provide the members of the COP and other interested participants with the necessary tools and methodology.

Jorge Chavez-Tafur
  • Jorge Chavez-Tafur is an Associate Programme Coordinator (Knowledge Management) at Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) and author of the e-learning module « Experience Capitalization for Continuous Learning ». He has been working on experience capitalization and systematization for many years, using different methodologies in the field.
Alice Van der Elstraeten
  • Alice Van der Elstraeten is an Information Management Specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and co-author of the learning module «Experience Capitalization for Continuous learning ». She has been working on knowledge and information management for different organizations in different parts of the world. She is a member of the e-Agriculture team.
